HEART REVENUE - Healthy Cooking

Practical advice that here we leave you without wishing abruptly change their eating habits, are indications that we consider useful for a healthier kitchen.

SOUPS - Give preference to soups composed of several vegetables. Paleo recipe ideas Quench with small amounts of unsaturated fat added to the end of the preparation. Use homemade broths with little fat. Reduce or replace salt by the addition of aromatic herbs, spices and lemon juice.

FISH - For any cooking method - baking, grilling, roasting, stewing and braising - give preference to fresh and frozen fish. MEAT - For any method -cozer cooking, grilling, roasting, steaming, braising - give preference to lean meats lamb; kid (chops and leg); cow; calf; pork (chops and loin); and tame rabbit. Remove all visible fat. Reduce or replace salt by the addition of aromatic herbs (fresh or dried), spices, vegetables, lemon or orange peels, and wine. Eat meat sparingly, partially substituting legumes.Search alternate meat meals with fish.

BIRDS - giving preference to the cooked poultry and braised pulled without sauteed. Remove the chicken skin, chicken, duck and turkey for containing too much fat.Marinate the meat less sapid. Reduce or replace the salt by adding herbs (fresh or dried), spices and vegetables.

EGGS - Being rich in cholesterol, the egg yolk should be avoided by individuals with high blood cholesterol rates. Limiting consumption yolks, about 3 to 4 weeks. Meals, eggs should be used as a substitute for meat or fish, and not as their supplements. Eg eggs poached with peas or green beans and tomatoes;. fried eggs.Give preference to hard poached or boiled eggs, as they digest better.

RICE AND PASTA - Consuming moderate amounts of these foods and replacing them often for vegetables, including potatoes. Give preference to the Creole rice (cooked in abundant water and drained), replacing part of the salt added to the water by herbs.Cooking with vegetables without pulled sauteed. Eg. Greens rice, peas, tomatoes, carrots. Or in the form of pie. Give preference to ground, boiled or stewed, braised pulled out. Seasoning the cooked pasta with tomato sauce or white sauce and flavored or with special sauce made with margarine, lemon juice and chopped parsley.

SAUCES - Give preference to low-fat sauces, salt and cholesterol, always made with unsaturated fats.

FAT - Preference fat of plant origin, special -margarinas or unsaturated oils rich in polyunsaturated fatty acids, extracted from safflower, sunflower, corn, soybean; peanut oil and olive oil rich in monounsaturated fatty acids. Consume fats in moderate amounts in view of the existing invisible fats in animal foods (meat, offal, eggs, cheese, milk).

CAKES - Give preference to cakes made at home and made with baker's yeast; not use baking soda and only use baking powder or flour with yeast (self-raising type) when necessary. The baking powder with low sodium content is available in many stores that sell herbal products. If it fails to find, ask your pharmacist to prepare it according to this formula:

- Leaven SODIUM
- Potassium bicarbonate 40 g
- 28 g Cornstarch
- Tartaric acid 7.5 g
- Cream of tartar 56 g

Do not consume frequently or sweet quantity and high-calorie cakes. In addition to gain weight, fill the stomach removing the appetite for other foods necessary for health.Replace with fresh fruit or yogurt. Obese people or with a tendency to gain weight should not eat cakes.


DESSERTS - Give preference to made sweets at home.
